FlutterFly Events on the Royal wedding

The wedding of Catherine Middleton and Prince William was truly magical. I was even in tears when Catherine was walking down the aisle! There are, however, some things I loved and some things I think they could have done without.

LOVED

Loved the bridesmaids in white.

Love, love, loved Kate’s evening gown. It’s exactly as I predicted when they announced their engagement.

Loved Victoria Beckham’s hat.

Loved the top half of Kate’s first dress. The lace was beautiful.

Loved watching Prince Harry- he is so cute!!

Loved the maple trees and the fact that they weren’t planted down the entire aisle. One of my weddings last summer had an abundance of trees so perhaps she was inspired by FlutterFly Events!

Loved how composed Kate was.

Destination wedding in London

As many of our clients come to us for their destination wedding in London, I’ve decided to do series of posts on destination wedding planning tips.

Destination wedding in London. Tip #1

Many venues throughout London and the UK are very old, very grand historic buildings. Many of these buildings have deep colored walls, large oil paintings, antique furniture, and don’t allow candles.  You may have to build your color scheme around your venue so there isn’t a clash with the venue’s interior.
