Are you stuck on how to word your stationery? Or afraid people will judge you for having incorrect wedding stationery etiquette? Truth is, every couple will be wording their stationery a bit different than their best friend because wording is based around the person paying for the wedding and family relationships. The person paying is referred to as the “host”. Traditionally the hosts were the bride’s parents but in modern days it can be the couple themselves, both the bride and groom’s parents, the bride’s father and the bride’s step mother, or any anyone else. Below are some of the most commonly used wedding invitation examples:

I was one of the lucky few invited to Bruce Oldfield’s launch party last week for the launch of his new perfume and china tableware collection. I also saw models gracefully wear his new bridal collection as we sipped cocktails and enjoyed a selection of afternoon tea nibbles. The tableware collection will be available in the UK from early summer through Bruce Oldfield’s boutique and Royal Crown Derby’s network, and the perfume will be available through the boutique, Bruce Oldfield online, and Libertys comes July 25th.
Wise wedding planning tip #6
A couple days before your wedding you’ll want to drop off a box of wedding “stuff” at the venue so you don’t need to bring it on the day. Things you might bring in advance of the day include; menus, escort cards, place cards, table plan, decorations, alcohol and beverages, guest book and pen, gift box, change of clothes (if required), guest favours, and anything else specific to your wedding. Make sure you schedule an appointment with the venue ahead of your arrival. Happy wedding day!
